Life is a funny thing. Back when I was in college I loved the cold weather – the snow, the nippiness, even the late night cold runs. But now that I am older I don’t enjoy it as much. It gets dark too soon, it’s too cold to do much outside and now with my MS the cold affects my legs and especially my feet. Where I used to have motivation during the cold months I now feel trapped inside with nothing to do.
I read an article a few days ago about things successful entrepreneurs do. One of them was creating a to-do list for the next day. The article stated that if you wake up without a plan you’ll waste the day away trying to figure out what it is that needs to be done. I believe that advice is not just for entrepreneurs but for all successful people.
I’ve noticed for myself during the winter I tend to come home from work and where it’s dark outside already I just watch tv and do nothing. After reading the article I started creating daily to-do lists for the next day. My last task of each day is to make a to-do list for the next day. It’s only been a few days but I am noticing that because I have a plan I am accomplishing more. I may not get everything on the list checked off but what I don’t accomplish I put on the next day’s list. With my to-do list in hand I just may survive these winter months and who knows, I just may also accomplish a few things in the process.
Attempt it. Chance it. Try it. Get to It!

Great idea Gabe!! I am going to try this idea. Tom an I enjoyed meeting you at R.J.’s!!!
Kellie, it was good to meet you and Tom as well. I know when I have a to-do list at work I get more accomplished so I thought why not try this at home. I hope to see you around.
