Ever since that post about the coulda, woulda, shouldas of life, and even before then, I have been wanting to be more proactive toward those opportunities that come my way. I do not want to be the person who sat on the sidelines of life, cheering others on while I myself do nothing or next to nothing. We all live, we all breath, we all do things, this is very true. But there is a level beyond just existing that I want to pursue. It is a level where I learn what my passions may be, where I attempt them, try them out, where I take a chance on them and many more.
Reaching that level takes time, patience, and most of all the willingness to do. It is the doing that trips up most of us but it is the doing that takes us from the “coulda, woulda, shoulda” to the “coulda, woulda, shoulda, I did!” It is a choice – much like I had a choice to stop my car and get that picture of the rainbow or to just keep driving and not worry about it, hoping another opportunity will come along. I made that choice to stop and I am glad I did. I was willing to stop the car and take that picture. It may sound small but sometimes the smallest things are really the largest ones.
What about you? What is your rainbow moment? Have you just passed by an opportunity or have you stopped and grabbed a hold of it? Let us move on past the level of just existing and on to that level where we do, we try, we take chances. Let our lives full of the coulda, woulda, shoulda… and I did! moments.
Attempt it. Chance it. Try it. Get to It![/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section]
