Time to Stop Wasting My Time

Time is a precious commodity. Out of everything in the world time is the one thing that cannot be restored. Friendships can, as can money, even houses and cars can be restored. But time, once it’s passed, it can never come back.

If we truly grasped that fact I wonder if we would waste as much of it as we do. As I got home last night I had several things on my list to do. What I ended up doing was nothing. I sat down and did nothing productive. And it’s not as though I watched something new, everything I watched, for the most part, I had seen before. You would think that in the light of my last post about keeping busy during the winter months I would do better, but I didn’t.

As I started making my way to bed it dawned on me that I had wasted 4 hours of my life, and those 4 hours can never come back. They are gone, wasted, all for the sake of nothing. It makes me very irritated at myself. However, that irritation is motivation to stop wasting my time and to get to something good. It’s time to get to it.

Attempt it. Chance it. Try it. Get to It!
